Miniature Town

I am making a miniature town of polymer clay that was to have been a town of erotica. However, after much work on it, I think it has become more of a commentary on society.  The first building that I am making is the church. The church will represent many different religions or cultures.

This is a scene which will go in the front of the church. I saw a picture many years ago and it left an impression on me and I wanted to recreate this look. I do not know who to credit the inspiration, but I felt this scene would represent many religions or cultures as most have a respect for nature. It is titled Nature Worship. It is made with polymer clay, mostly Premo and TLS or liquid polymer clay.

Click on the photos below to see a close-up.

Windows are made of Translucent Liquid Sculpey. Walls are of Granitex Polymer Clay.

The front doors to the church are of polymer clay in a faux carved wood look. The doors of the church will represent good and evil. Both sides will have a scene on each door. This is the inside of the front doors. Please see Tutorial for doing this technique.
